Product Description

Shellac (S-Coat)

Shellac (S-Coat) is made from the processed as well as sold as dry flakes. It can be used as a brush-on colorant, wood finish and food glaze. This is useful as a tannin-blocker, odour-blocker, tough natural primer, high-gloss varnish and sanding sealant. This is waterproof in nature and is highly water resistant. Shellac (S-Coat) is made to resist the water as well as fading. It is required to add strength and toughness. It is made to reduce the chipping. This is used to make medicines of different types.

DISCRIPTION : S- Coat is based on dewaxed and decolorized Shellac, refined in a solvent extraction process. During this process, the colour is reduced by activated carbon. The chemical structure of shellac is not modified by this process.

S-Coat is clear to slightly cloudy amber and very stable with 25% and 30 % solids, aqueous solution.
